Adoptions

Our Adoption Process
  • Search our Adoptapet site, view our facebook page, or come to one of our adoption events.  Once you find a cat or kitten that you are interested in, or if you want to adopt from us, please contact Miss Fannies Friends for a meet and greet.

  • Complete our Adoption Application and email it to missfanniesfriends@gmail.com, drop it off at one of our adoption events or mail it to P.O. Box 9021, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.

  • When your application is approved, one of our adoption coordinators will contact you and set up a meeting to bring the kitty to you for a home visit.

  • After meeting with the coordinator with your new pet, if everything is a match. The final step is signing our Adoption Contract and  paying the adoption fee.

  • A few days after the adoption we will follow up with you to make sure you and your new family member are well adjusted.

*Miss Fannies Friends lists our adoptable cats on Adoptapet.com. However, occasionally cats or kittens are posted on Miss Fannies Friends Facebook page before they are added to our adopt a pet site. If you are interested in one you have seen on our Facebook page, we will be happy to set up a meeting with them.

Miss Fannie's Friends Adoptions

It is our goal to find loving, forever homes for all of our cats and kittens.

All of Miss Fannies cats and kittens are rescues. It is crucial that we find safe, permanent homes for the animals in our care.

All are vaccinated with the FVRP-C vaccine, they are tested for FIV & FELV, administered dewormer, have their rabies shot, are microchipped and are spayed or neutered. They are also treated for ear mites or fleas as needed.

The adoption fee pays for these costs. We do not profit from our adoptions, except with the knowledge they are safe and in good, loving homes.

We require all adopters to keep their adopted cat or kitten indoors always for their lifetime, and never surrender them to the city, give them away or abandon them.

We will always take our adopted cats or kittens back rather than see them surrendered or in an unsafe or bad situation.
